This 4BT cylinder block is machined from the same materials as Dongfeng Cummins Engine, with a high-gloss, bright silver appearance. Whilst some 4BT blocks also bear the ‘DCEC’ marking, they are not made from the same material. These cylinder blocks have a dark grey surface, and the machining marks on the combustion chamber surface are rather coarse.
